16.2 hands. He last raced in September 2024 and retired with a active medial branch suspensory tear with bone involvement in the ankle, right front. He looks sound on it but we are keeping him in a round pen for a week or so and reassess.
King is as kind as he is handsome, a real pleasure to have in the barn and to work with. He is quiet and sensible. He doesn’t seem spooky, and we haven’t noticed any vices. He has a soft, kind eye that radiates a soft soul. He is well behaved for grooming and stood well for the vet and farrier. He is quiet in his stall and settles down quickly to graze. He gets along well with his pasture friends.
Activity and discipline level to be determined but he will be suitable for flat work.
