Draymond is an intelligent, athletic, willing young gelding who has made great progress in the arena and on the trails. He is currently working well at a walk, trot and canter in the arena, and enjoys walk/trot hacks with a buddy through fields and down a country lane. With patient training, Draymond has a great future in dressage, low level eventing, second or third flight hunting, hunter paces, etc.
Draymond is well behaved for grooming and enjoys human interaction. He prefers scissors over clippers and is well behaved when pulling his mane. He is very sweet and is the first to approach you in the field. He walks well when being led and does respect his handlers. He is still learning to stand still with his head down for bridling, but once it’s on, he’s quiet again.
This is a very nice horse for an experienced rider looking for a horse to train and enjoy over the years – he is already maturing beautifully.
