16.1 plus hands. Moon last raced on 11/6/22 and retired with a severely torn suspensory. He is currently being hand walked. In early January, he will be turned out in a smaller paddock/round pen for 30 days. In early February, he will need to be reassessed by your vet to see if he is ready to start back to light work. Moon is learning the laid-back way of the farm and is taking it all in stride. He is quiet in his stall and we have not seen any vices. He keeps to himself and enjoys his grain!
Moon has a fun personality and is intelligent and listens well to his handlers. He likes to snuggle his head in your chest and enjoys a good treat for his efforts! He will ground tie for grooming sessions as he enjoys them so much!
He was castrated on 12/1/22.
Moon is a kind, playful and energetic boy. He is very green and will need a lot of groundwork to help with his transition. At this time, he will need an experienced rider/handler. Moon is a striking youngster that will turn heads wherever he goes, a real showstopper!
He is suitable for flatwork once properly rehabilitated.
