Danger Ranger

5 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in FL
Animal Kingdom (Leroidsanimaux) out of Jelly Cable by Sky Mesa
Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's
THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION!

16.1 1/2 hands.  He last raced on 7/3/23 and was retired due to arthritis in the left knee. He is currently sound at all gaits.

Ranger is a playful gelding with excellent sport potential. He has had time to rest since retiring from racing and is now sound and riding well. With an experienced rider, he could be a fantastic partner in eventing, dressage, western dressage, ranch work, endurance riding, mounted archery, etc. Ranger will do best in a consistent training program with an intermediate to advanced level rider.

Ranger is well-behaved around the farm. He walks nicely on a lead rope and stands well for grooming and tacking up. He loves attention and benefits from reminders to respect boundaries during play with people. Ranger has a big personality and a huge heart. He gets along well with the geldings in his field and stood well for the vet. Ranger is quiet in his stall; he does best with ample free-choice hay.

We have not seen any vices.
