16.1 plus hands. He last worked on 12/21/23 and retired with a right front bowed tendon and splint. We do have ultrasound scans available. He is currently turning out with another gelding that is on the submissive side as he does best with quieter horses.
Attention sport/competition riders – you need to see this horse in person. He’s big, beautiful, has an engaging and intelligent personality, and was impressively self-regulated in his first off-track ride. Composer has a bright future ahead in eventing, hunter/jumpers, or dressage – he simply needs a skilled adult rider/trainer to bring him along.
Composer is under saddle at the walk and trot through May. He will be suitable for any non-speed-test discipline once responsibly brought back to full work.
Composer is well-behaved for grooming, the vet and the farrier. He loves attention, pets and kisses. An extemely personable horse! He does not have any known vices.
