15.3 hands. She last raced in 2015 and retired sound with no interest in racing. She may have some arthritis in her right hind. She has been a mother to 7 foals, the last being in 2022. She is eligible for the RRP Broodmare division. She is reported to be a very good mother and enjoys raising her babies. She is currently sound at all gaits.
Coldfeetwarmheart is an enjoyable mare to be around. She is well behaved and is respectful of her handlers, riders and caretakers. She stands well for grooming sessions. She is a bit ticklish when she is being brushed and prefers that to be done slowly. She stands well for the vet and farrier as well. We haven’t noticed any vices. She doesn’t mind being in a stall and gets along well with another mare. She does prefer to be the boss, but she isn’t a bully.
Under saddle, she is well behaved and does what is asked of her. She responds well to leg pressure and soft hands. She does have a choppy canter that will need refining but otherwise, she is a very nice mare to ride. She will make a great family horse or lesson horse and is suitable for any age appropriate discipline but may do best sticking to flat work.
