16.2 hands. He last raced in 2024 and was retired. We are not aware of past injuries; however he does have a bone chip in his poll. We were told this has never been an issue for him, and our vet was not concerned by the x-rays. X-rays available.
Looking for a Thoroughbred who looks and moves like a warmblood? Chance is your man. This five year old gelding has been been restarted walk, trot, and canter on the flat and was jumping cross rails and small verticals last fall. He attended one combined test and behaved well.
Chance is getting back to work after enjoying the winter off (due to owner’s schedule not an injury). He has been polite and cooperative for grooming, tacking up and mounting. He is quiet and settled at a walk and trot, with some fussiness in the mouth at the trot. In Chance’s first canter ride, he was a bit rambunctious but no buck rear or bolt. He will need an experienced rider.
Chance is an easy keeper who thrives on a balancer and good hay. He walks respectfully on a lead rope and gets along well with his pasture friends. He is respectful of his handlers and stands nicely for grooming, tacking up, vet and farrier.
Chance is very easy to work with on the ground. He is gentle, loves attention, receives treats politely, crossties with supervision, and walks calmly to and from the pasture.
Chance turns out nightly with a group of quiet geldings – he enjoys moderately playful friends.
