16 hands. She last worked on 6/2/22 and retired with a left front superficial bowed tendon. She is currently on stall rest. We do have a scan.
Chevelita is a nicely built filly with long legs and kind eye. She is calm and has settled in well to farm life. She should be suitable for any discipline once the tendon is properly healed.
Chevelita is currently on stall rest. She will go on round pen turnout beginning the week of 7/18/22. She can return to very light groundwork approximately 8/18/22- 60 days post injury, IF the bow is healing properly AND she is trotting and walking soundly. Please consult with your vet for further rehab/retraining instructions.
