16 hands. She last worked on 6/2/22 and retired with a left front superficial bowed tendon. She is currently sound. We do have a scan.
Chevelita is a nicely built mare with big, showy gaits. She has settled in well to farm life and has been handled and groomed by youth riders. Chevy gets along well with other mares while out. She settles in quickly to graze and is quiet in the stall. She is respectful of her handlers and walks nicely on a lead rope.
Chevy has rested her bow for over a year. A lovely mare who should excel at any discipline. She will need a confident and experienced rider. Chevy, as her nickname suggests, likes to get up and go fast.
She was not able to get in foal earlier this year.
