16 plus hands. He last worked on 4/3/22 and retired with a left front condylar fracture. He has finished his rehab and is beginning under saddle training.
Celestial Finish is kind, patient and enjoys gentle attention. He stands well in his stall or on crossties for grooming and has allowed a minor wound to be treated daily without any fuss.
Celestial is well-behaved under saddle and enjoys rides aroud the farm. He is sensible and brave and can already walk out alone, without another horse for support. Celestial has been comfortable doing rides that are mostly walking with a little bit of trotting on level ground. He will be a great farm or trail riding horse.
Celestial has an amazing mane and tail — definitely gets the “best hair” award and would look fabulous in western tack.
We have not noticed any vices – he is quiet in his stall. Celestial should be turned out with a gentle pasturemate. He would be a wonderful companion to an elderly gelding or one recuperating from an injury. Celestial currently turns out very happily with our most gentle yearling.
