16 hands. A well bred mare, she is by an Indian Charlie stallion and Dixieland Band mare. She last raced on 2/6/2026 and retired with a right front cracked sesamoid. She will be on stall rest until 4/6/26 and then can graduate to a round pen or small paddock until 5/6/26. If she is sound on 5/6/26, she can begin light riding at the walk. If she heals well and rehab is done properly, she should be sound for any discipline.
Star is a very sweet mare but can get excited in her stall when horses are turning out. She loves a good treat and stands well for grooming, blanketing, etc. She seems sensible and is available for adoption to an adopter who has experience with rehabbing horses on stall rest.
