16.1 hands. He last raced on 7/24/24. We were not told of any injuries. His racing record shows he was not active from September 2023-June of 2024. He has severe arthritis in his left front fetlock that makes him best suited for light riding like trails and possibly walk/trot youth lessons.
If you are looking for kind, gentle, trustworthy, patient, brave, friendly horse, Bullion is the one. In all matters of the heart, he excels – with humans, horses, cats and dogs – Bullion gets along with everyone and makes everything easy.
Bullion’s ankle arthritis has calmed down and he walks, trots and canters comfortably in the field. We are eager to see how this translates to under saddle work and anticipate him being an excellent trail horse, especially given his trusting nature and willingness to enter new situations calmly.
Bullion is wonderful with children – stands quietly while being groomed and is very respectful of his young handlers when they lead him. Bullion would be an ideal family horse, or the perfect Pony Club horse for teaching horse care.
Bullion is has settled in very well to farm life. He has been turned out days, nights, with many combinations of horses – he’s always the same peaceful horse. He is an excellent babysitter for young or delicate horses.
Bullion is a cribber. He stands well for the vet and farrier.
