16 plus hands. She last raced on 2/7/24 and retired sound. She had no interest in being a racehorse.
Briny is a very sweet and patient filly who has settled into farm life easily. She is well behaved and respectful of her handlers. She stands quietly for grooming and enjoys the attention.
Briny’s movement and temperament suggest a strong aptitude for the hunter ring. She’d also be lovely in eventing. She should be sound for any non-racing discipline.
Briny will need careful blanketing to help her through this winter- a heavy weight or medium with liner at temps below 30 F should keep her comfortable. She does happily turn out overnight with a group mares given suitable clothing.
We haven’t noticed any vices.
