15.3 hands. He last raced on 4/5/24 and retired with no interest in racing. We were not told of any injuries.
Billy is a good boy with a kind personality. He loves the slow pace of farm life and enjoys quiet time with his people. He is respectful during grooming, tacking up, feeding and stall cleaning, and walks nicely on a lead rope. He keeps quiet in his stall and doesn’t bother his neighbors.
Billy rides nicely and is very willing. He is relaxed during hacks around the farm. If sport level work is needed, he will need to strengthen his hind end and may benefit from injections in the hocks and fetlocks.
Billy DOES NOT crosstie. Billy will trot peacefully all day; however, he is not a fan of the canter.
Billy is very gentle in the field and is an excellent pasture mate for other quiet horses. He is happy out 24/7 with shelter and can also be in a stall half time. A kind and flexible guy!
He stood well for the vet and farrier and enjoys being groomed.
He is a cribber.
Billy should be suitable for pleasure riding and possibly low to mid level sport use.
