15.2 hands. He last worked on 5/5/22 and retired with a knee chip. We do have radiographs. The chips were removed in September 2021 but he does have a new chip that it is not recommended for removal. He trots soundly but is slightly positive with flexion.
Bernie is the sweetest gelding you could ever meet. He follows you around the barn and wants to know what you’re up to. He loves being groomed and just being with people in general. He stands well for vet and farrier and is just an all-around great guy. Bernie will be best suited for trail life but could pop over a log or two while out on the trails.
Bernie has settled into farm life with ease and is no trouble in the stall or round pen. A cute little horse with a huge heart in need of love!
