16 hands. He last raced on 7/31/23 and retired with left hock arthritis that is mild. He has some decreased range of motion in the joint and may benefit from supplements/injections with an athletic career. We do have x-rays. He has 4 starts with 1 win.
Attest qualifies for our home for the holidays event where the fee will be half off. If you bring your trailer the day of appointment and take home you will get an additional $100 off.
Attest is the kindest horse you will ever meet; sweet and respectful, he is easy to handle and work with. He walks well on a lead rope and stands well for grooming. He is very loving and is a great snuggler.
Attest is making great progress under saddle. He is sound at the walk, trot and canter. Attest is currently working on finding a steady, relaxed trot and recognizing the cues for a walk-halt transition. He is beginning to reach into contact and to yield from the leg. He is a trainer favorite because he is so intelligent and willing.
Attest is currently turning out at night with other geldings and stays quiet while out. He did take about a week to settle into our farm and start to finish all his grain each day. He does great now and enjoys his routine!
