15.3 plus hands. She last raced on 2/27/11 and had her last registered foal in 2017. She is now retired from breeding.
Alluring is a lovely mare who is blind in the right eye. She manages things well and it doesn’t cause her any issues. Alluring loves to be with people and enjoys being out with other mares and fillies. She gets along well with others and does fine during the day in her stall. We have not seen any vices and she settles down quickly once turned out.
Alluring did fantastic on her first ride in many years and was perfectly sound. She seemed to enjoy the ride and was good for tacking up and grooming. She is suitable for any type of flat work for a 19 yo mare. She is willing and ready to get back to work. A really nice older mare who still has a lot to give.
She stands well for a bath and for the vet and farrier. We do keep a fly mask on her at all times to keep flies and sun out of her right eye.
She is a mild cribber, controlled with a strap.
