15.2 hands and growing! He could reach close to 17 hands high. He was not started under saddle due to left knee arthritis, right hind sesamoiditis and an underdeveloped right hock. This hock will fuse as he ages and grows and will have some arthritis. He will be suitable for trails and flat work beginning in the spring of 2026.
He was castrated on 11/13/25.
This kid! What a treat to have in the barn! He is very sweet and seems intelligent. Easy to work with and walks nicely on a lead. He is very well behaved for grooming and enjoys time with people. Kioni has settled in well to our farm and is doing well. He is easy going and stands nicely for the vet. He is kind and respectful to his handlers. He stays quiet when out in the field and in his stall and doesn’t bother his neighbors.
Kioni will need a handler who has experience working with and starting yearlings. He will be suitable for trails and easy flatwork.
