16.2 hands. Never raced. She is sound. Retired from training due to poor knee conformation that may limit her.
This filly is a beautiful mover, but her offset knee will likely limit the activity level she can rise to. An adopter would need to be willing to do what she can do. She is kind and fun to work with.
Now several months under saddle, she is broke to ride at the walk, trot and canter, and enjoys hacking out on trail rides around the farm. She’s not bothered by distractions such as loud lawnmowers and construction. She is still green, but with an experienced rider we expect she’ll continue to progress.
She was easy to teach and ride, but best suited for a life of fun versus strenuous work. She has never learned to gallop or race, coming to us for transitioning, as conformationally she would not be a racing prospect.
She’s a smart and sensible girl who doesn’t let much bother her. She’s on turn-out with others and we feel like she’d make a laid-back buddy for another horse. She’s just as sweet as can be.
She’s quiet in the stall and keeps to herself. She is turned out at night with 2 others and while playful she settles down to graze quickly. She is respectful of her handlers but is head shy when tacking up so her adopter will need to practice patience and rewards with this.
