Kick off your Derby week in style and join Second Stride on MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2025 at the newly renovated Valhalla Golf Club to support the Thoroughbred athletes who make it all possible!
The evening runs 6:30 – 9:30 and will include:
~Meet & mingle with Triple Crown winning jockey Jean Cruguet, Kentucky Derby winning jockey Mike Manganello and well-known successful jockeys Sandy Hawly and Kaoru Tsuchiya-Hawley
~Former jockey and celebrity NBC horse racing reporter Donna Brothers will be on hand to lend some insight on the big race and interview racing notables including trainer Whit Beckman, trainer of Kentucky Derby contender Flying Mohawk and Kentucky Oaks filly Simply Joking
~Official artist of the Derby & Oaks Tyler Robertson will be present to sign any posters sold of his limited edition artwork.
~Valhalla Pro Shop will be open for guests
~Insider perspective from our handicapping + celebrity expert panel
~Bourbon tastings from Maker’s Mark and Elijah Craig
~High-end, online/onsite silent auction (link will be listed soon!)
~Meet-and-greet with Second Stride ambassador horses on the property
~Also, this just in! Plans are in the works for guests to experience first-hand the iconic green of Valhalla’s 18th hole. Stay tuned!
