16.1 plus hands. He last raced in 2018 and reportedly retired sound. We are not aware of any injury history. He has been living on his owner’s farm since retirement.
A J is well behaved and respectful but can be a bit stubborn. He prefers to live outside 24/7 but does fine for the day in a stall. He was well behaved for the vet and stood nicely. He walks nicely on a lead rope and seems to be respectful of his handlers.
He did fine under saddle and seemed relaxed and enjoying being back to work. He would benefit from ground and hill work to build up his hind end muscles. He didn’t cause any issues on his first ride and was well behaved.
He should be suitable for trail rides and companionship.
