Flash is a great little gelding who is a pleasure to have in the barn. He is turning out with another rising two year old, and they spend their days playing and grazing in the field. He is very well-behaved for grooming and the vet and farrier and walks nicely on a lead rope. He is working on accepting a blanket – he currently is most comfortable with a stable blanket that is less noisy than the waterproof ones – work in progress! Even when nervous about new experiences like blanketing, Flash is kind – he may move away very quickly, but he is not defensive. Flash loves quiet moments with his people, and is a sweet soul. He just needs to work on trust and confidence.
Flash will be best suited for a non-riding home. He’d be a wonderful friend for another horse, a friendly welcome greeter for your home farm or perhaps a bed and breakfast. He is also a great friend to his human companions. He would also be suitable for in-hand type disciplines like obstacles and competitive trail. We know with the right person he will shine!
His adoption fee is waived to a proven, responsible adopter that will agree to keep him of the entirety of his life or return to our program.
