Betty has settled in well to our farm and was accepted into our mare herd without issue. She gets along well with all of them. Betty is quiet in her stall and enjoys looking out her window and munching on hay. She settles down quickly when she is turned out with her friends.
Betty is a huge mare but is quiet under saddle. She rode well on her first ride in 4 years and didn’t seem to have any issues. She listened well and did what her rider asked of her. She walked calmly down our lane and didn’t seem to be bothered by anything. A sensible mare with a sweet demeanor.
Betty is good for grooming and tacking up. She didn’t want to go in our shower stall but did stand quietly for her bath. She should go in a shower stall with patience and proper encouragement. She walks nicely on a lead rope and is respectful of her handlers.
Betty will need a trailer that is 7′ or higher FROM INSIDE FLOOR TO CEILING when she is adopted. She is a tall girl and needs a comfortable ride home.
