16.1 hands and growing. She last worked on 3/1/25 and retired sound.
Scarlet is an intelligent and brave filly who enjoys exploring new places with her rider. She rides out well alone or with friends and can lead the way across fields, bridges, through woods, etc. Scarlet has the potential to be very athletic with joint support – a recent right stifle injection has given her comfort and performance at the trot and canter. With joint support she would be a fabulous eventing or dressage partner. Scarlet will be best for a skilled rider who likes a mentally engaged horse.
Scarlet walks well on a lead line, stands well for bathing, and enjoys being groomed. She will want to groom you in return. Scarlet is very relationship oriented and responds best to a handler/rider who trusts her and enjoys spending down time with their horse.
Scarlet LOVES carrots and would be a great candidate for liberty training with treats – she will work very hard if she knows her efforts are appreciated. She thrives on praise.
Scarlet is looking for a committed, long-term home. She is not a candidate for a primarily breeding career.
Listed application fees will be half off the listed price through August 1.
