ADOPTED
16.1 hands. He last worked in April and retired due to lack of interest in racing. He does have osselets in the left front fetlock.
Gus is a very sweet and laid-back boy with a kind disposition. He acclimated to our farm quickly and fit right into a herd of laid-back geldings. He is well behaved on a lead rope, being groomed in his stall and gets along well with his friends. He is quiet in his stall and settles down quickly when turned out.
Gus seems sensible and intelligent. He loves people and is a personable horse to be around. A very kind eye and lovely boy. He is well mannered, and we feel could work with anyone.
Gus is relaxed under saddle and enjoys a nice, laid back ride. He is a guy that could be a lesson or family horse. He is easy to groom and tack up and stood well on cross ties. He stands well at the mounting block and walks away slowly. Gus enjoys the laid back lifestyle and may do best in a nonathletic career but he is capable of doing lower level sport riding.
Gus stands very well for the vet and farrier.
