16 hands. He last worked on 8/14/24. He never raced. We are not aware of any injuries. He would benefit from a few weeks off and bring back at a pace appropriate for a 2 year old.
Risk has settled in well to retirement. He is a very sweet, in your pocket gelding with a huge heart. He is turning out well with others and is quiet when out. We haven’t seen any vices. He walks nicely on a lead rope and is respectful of his handlers.
This gelding is one of the sweetest horses’ we have had in a very long time. He has been loving and kind since stepping hoof on the farm. He is relaxed and is relaxing to be around, and you will love just being in his presence, working with him.
He stands well for grooming, bathing, farrier and vet. He seems to be an easy keeper so far and we haven’t noticed any vices.
He should be suitable for any discipline; however, a PPE is recommended for an athletic career.
All adoption fees are half off through September. Companion horse fees are waived for responsible adopter.
