16 hands. He last worked on 6/8/24 and retired with a right hind fetlock fracture on 8/6/24. Early November x-rays showed excellent healing. He will turn out in a round pen for 6-8 weeks, then can return to pasture turnout with friends and under-saddle work with full athletic capability. He is on round pen turnout until 12/15. At that time, he will be checked for soundness for full turnout and riding.
Decision Maker is a kind and gentle gelding who is doing well with his rehab. He is quiet, very easy to work with, loves peppermints, and enjoys sparring and nuzzling with his neighbors.
Decision will be an excellent horse for an adult amateur or skilled youth to bring along with a trainer. Decision is such a gentleman and will be a wonderful partner in any non-racing discipline.
He stands well good for grooming and the vet and is polite while his stall is cleaned.
