16.1 hands. She last raced on 7/15/24 and retired with bone bruising her left ankle. She does have old chips in both ankles.
Dee is a lovely mare with a kind disposition. She walks respectfully on a lead rope and is quiet while grooming and tacking up. She stands well for the vet and farrier.
Dee has settled in well to farm life and quickly lowered her head to graze her first time in the field. There was no drama upon meeting her pasture mates and seems to be getting along well with several other mares. She is also quiet in her stall and keeps to herself.
Dee is a delight under saddle. She has a soft mouth and a lovely trot and canter. She needs work on steering, but she listens very well and does what is asked of her. She is very athletic and will shine in a show ring. She was also relaxed on a short farm hack.
She should be suitable for any discipline if she stays sound.
Through September, all listed adoption fees will be half off. Companion only horses fees will be waived.
