Quincy Rider

3 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in KY
Outwork (Uncle Mo) out of Condi by Elusive Quality
Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's
THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION!

17 hands. He last raced on 4/14/24 and retired with a suspensory tear. He is currently turning out with other geldings and does very well. Quincy is very quiet upon turnout and settles down quickly to graze. He is quiet in his stall, and we haven’t noticed any vices.

Quincy is a giant of a gelding with a huge heart. He is kind and easy going and doesn’t seem to be bothered by much. He loads and trailers well.

He seems to enjoy his grooming sessions and enjoys the attention. He is respectful of his handlers and walks politely on a lead rope. He meets new horses with a calm demeanor and has settled in quickly to farm life.

Quincy can begin under saddle at the walk and slow trot. By mid-fall if he is sound, he can begin to canter. He should be suitable for any discipline once fully healed.
