16.2 hands. He last worked in March of 2023 and was retired with a suspensory issue. He is currently sound. He is currently on full paddock turnout with other geldings and does well. He does have some arthritis in his left stifle.
Denny is good to work with and seems to be well behaved. He enjoys being groomed and walks respectfully on a lead rope. He is turning out with other geldings and does well. He settles down quickly to graze and is quiet when in his stall.
Denny did very well on his first ride under saddle with us although he can be strong at the canter. He was well behaved and did what was asked of him. He is ready to get back to training, though he should start slowly with the canter. He seems like a straightforward ride and should make a nice horse for his next partner.
Denny will be best suited for non-speed, flat disciplines once he is fully healed.
Denny is a pleasure to have in the barn and will make a great partner for his new adopter!
