15.3 hands. He last raced in 2021 and has been restarted. We are not aware of any injuries; however, he does have some arthritis in both front fetlocks and navicular bursa inflammation. He currently has underrun heels on all 4 so he will need 4 shoes until the farrier can correct this.
Quincy is very athletic, and we are told is a wonderful jumper (competed in steeplechase briefly) and has had some basic arena flatwork and jump training.
Quincy is very kind and sensible. He settles in quickly in the stall and while turned out. He made friends quickly upon turnout and gets along with his pasture mates. He has a kind eye and disposition and takes things as they come. He doesn’t seem to have any vices and should be suitable for any discipline once his heels are corrected with good farrier work.
Quincy curently needs shoes on all four to protect low heels. This may change with time and quality farrier care on a short cycle.
