16.2 hands. He last ran on 10/27/23 and retired with a left front bowed tendon. He is currently able to start under saddle at the walk and trot. We do have scans.
He was castrated on 11/16/23.
Trip is a good boy but does have a lot of energy and will need an experienced handler at this time. He is good in his stall and while in the round pen. We haven’t noticed any vices. He stands well for the vet and farrier and enjoys interaction with people.
He will be best suited for flatwork but with proper rehab, he may be able to do some low level jumping if he continues to have a successful rehab, up to 3′!
Trip can be nippy so he will need firm and kind correction until he learns his boundaries.
He stood well for the vet and farrier.
