16 hands. He last raced on 9/2/23 and was retired. We were not told of any injuries.
Baker has settled into off track life like the champ he is. He is already turning out with other geldings and does great. There was no drama at all with him when we first added him to the herd.
Baker did well his first ride under saddle but does have some soreness in his back, more on the right side. He will need a few weeks down time with turnout to let the soreness ease before getting back to full work. He will be suitable for any discipline.
Baker is easy to work with but can be a bit fearful of new things so ground work may be a good idea while he is resting. He did well for the vet and farrier and walks respectfully on a lead rope. He stands well for grooming and seems to be a willing partner under saddle.
