16 hands. He last worked on 6/5/23 and retired with a left front sesamoid fracture and suspensory injury. He was on stall rest until 8/7/23 then was turned out in a round pen for another 30 days. We do have x-rays. He began undersaddle retraining 9/20/23.
Onur was gelded in July 2023.
Onur is a very sweet and loving guy. He is intelligent and very agreeable. He respects his handlers and is good for grooming, the vet, and the farrier. He loves baths, even having his face washed. We have not seen any vices.
Onur will be a great horse for therapy, companionship, riding the trails, light arena flatwork, natural horsemanship groundwork – he’s just an all-around good boy. He needs to regain strength at the walk first under saddle. Onc comfortable at the walk, trot can be added.
Onur is easy-going and enjoys human company. He gets along peacefully iwth the other geldings in his field. We can’t say enough good things about him!
