16 hands. He last worked on 5/12/23 and retired with a left front fetlock ankle chip. The chip can be removed but there is arthritis in the joint. We do have x-rays. He will benefit from supplements/injections if needed. He is quite playful in the field.
Super’s adoption fee will be waived through 12/31/23 to approved adopters. Donations would be appreciated.
Supersonic is a laid back horse with a good mind. He stands well in crossties and will nap while being brushed by several people. He is very kind and with supervision can be led and groomed by children. Super is most comfortable at the walk under saddle. He is very quiet and follows instructions well, in the arena and outside. He will make an excellent trail partner or therapy horse or would be great on a family farm.
Super gets along well with his pasture friends and settles down quickly to graze. He does like to be higher up in the herd dynamics but doesn’t need to be the boss.
Due to his injury, he may do best as a trail/family horse.
He was good for the vet and farrier.
