16.1 hands. Tintorero came to us from Puerto Rico where he last raced 9/11/22. He retired with arthritis in the right front fetlock.
Tint is a quiet gelding with a good disposition. He can be anxious while tacking up and grooming, but he doesn’t misbehave, just ancy. He is a forward ride so will need an experienced rider to help him with his transition. He goes out with other geldings and gets along well with all of them. Tint is quiet in his stall and we have not seen any vices.
Tint is a rider favorite and likes to be out and about on a farm hack. He seems confident and is easy to work with.
Tint has traveled a lot of miles to get back home to Kentucky and he looks forward to his next traveling partner and all the new adventures he is going to take!
Tintorero is cleared for full athletic ability.
