16 hands. He retired with 2 bowed tendons. We do have scans. He is sound and going out with others. He never raced and has no published works. He has a condition called fibrotic myopathy which is scarring on the muscle that causes the nerve to fire and makes him stomp his foot when he walks. It doesn’t affect his ability to be a trail horse or even a low level jumper. He just has a funny walk that adds to his personality! He won’t be a significant show horse but he can try at lower levels. He shouldn’t have any type of toe grab on his shoes.
Gianni will melt your heart with his cuteness and quirky way of going. His personality is addictive and you will fall in love with him at first sight! He is extremely kind and gentle and loves his friends and people. He is quiet in the stall and settles down quickly to graze in the field.
