16.1 hands and growing! He is not yet broke to ride. He was not suitable for racing. He does have a left front fracture at the base of the medial sesamoid. It is healed and does not bother him. He is suitable for any discipline. We expect he will finish growing at around 17 hands.
He was castrated on 9/6/22.
Gem is the sweetest guy and full of potential! He is learning how to be a horse and is walking well on a lead rope. He does well with grooming but needs confidence for bathing. He does well in a stall. We have not seen any vices and he is respectful of his handlers.
He will need an adopter that is knowledgeable in breaking yearlings.
