16 hands. He last raced 6/29/22 and retired due to irritation in his right hind fetlock. He is currently sound.
Ruler is a laid-back guy that is learning to settle into life off the track. He flexed positive on his right hind fetlock. There were no issues found on radiographs. He does have a negative palmer angle in the right hind (flat footed) so proper shoeing and or trimming will help. He will need 30 days turnout before returning to work. Please consult with your vet for further rehab instructions.
He is currently being turned out with other geldings and is doing great! He shows no vices in or out of the stall. Under saddle, he is nervous but not silly, just unsure and needs confidence. He is willing and does everything that is asked of him. The more you work his brain, the better and happier he is. He is a fantastic ride and should be suitable for most any discipline.
