16 hands. She ran in only 2 races and retired with a knee chip that occurred on 12/23/21. We do have radiographs. She last raced 12/23/21 at Gulfstream Park.
A sweet filly with a kind eye she is as sweet as her name suggests. She has adjusted well to being at the farm and has settled in nicely. She is sensible and agreeable to work with and should settle into a new routine quickly. She stands well for the vet and farrier. She is a patient filly that doesn’t get rattled easily, really good mind. She will need an experienced rider to help her get started in something new. She has a nice, forward way of going and is willing to please her rider.
In regards to the knee chip, our vet stated if you would like to use Apple for a jumping partner, it would be best to remove the chip. If you are looking for a more laid back lifestyle, then there is no need to remove the chip. Either way she is moving soundly and ready to start her new job and can return to full athletic ability.
