Second Stride is participating in Churchill Downs’ giving campaign, Gallop for Good, underway now through Saturday, June 27th! Gallop for Good supports aftercare organizations like Second Stride, which are dedicated to the safe transition of Thoroughbred racehorses after their racing careers. Giving has already started and culminates on Saturday, June 27th at Churchill Downs – Stephen Foster Day.
Second Stride is thrilled to share that Churchill Downs has made a lead gift to jumpstart our fundraising! We’ve set a lofty goal of raising $50,000 this week, and we’re issuing a Horsemen’s Challenge to those who work in horse racing, owners and syndicates, fans and those who simply love horses to help us meet our goal.
