16.1 hands. He last raced in 2021 and retired with earnings of over $261,000! He did have a sesamoid fracture in 2022 that has now healed. He does have some arthritis in the fetlock and may require daily joint support for sport use. He is currently sound at all gaits.
Star is a lovely older gelding who has been retired for 5 years and has settled into retirement. He is well mannered for grooming and stands politely for the vet and farrier. He has been respectful of his handlers and walks nicely on a lead rope. He is quiet when out with a group of geldings and remains quiet in his stall when inside. An intelligent, classy horse.
Casino will need an intermediate to advanced rider at this time. He is very forward and strong but does relax with a patient rider. His canter needs some fine tuning, but he should improve with consistent work. He has the look of a dressage prospect and the athleticism to do more. He also enjoys a relaxed trail ride.
He has proven to be a willing partner and with his athletic type of frame and fun personality he should excel with his next partner.
Star will be suitable for low level disciplines.
He was castrated in November 2025. He is currently turned out alone and doing well.
