Kim is the owner and operator of Moserwood Farms, a thoroughbred and sport horse boarding and training facility in Prospect, Kentucky. She also works as a bloodstock agent and has been a licensed thoroughbred trainer.

She is a lifelong horsewoman whose passion is helping develop the potential of former racehorses. After getting her trainer's license, she realized that what she really wanted to do is help place ex-racehorses in new careers or homes. She began successfully networking for former racehorses on a small scale, and after several years she wanted to help even more. She then came up with the idea for Second Stride.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys competing in eventing and trail riding. She is a native of Kentucky, and holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville.
